Level Range: 15 – 21
Special Notes: The second boss in the instance completes the LFD requirements, but two more Horde quest-fulfilling bosses exist beyond him. If you want the extra loot and bosses but don’t trust your group to stick around, skirt around Taragaman, pick up bosses 3 and 4, and then come back to him.
Map:
Bosses:
- Oggleflint
- Taragaman the Hungerer
- Jergosh the Invoker
- Bazzalan: After defeating Jergosh, turn south and jump onto the low ledge. Follow it up and around the corner to find Bazzalan.
It’s one thing to let your healer get aggro, but under no circumstances allow your hair to get mussed.

Note: Alliance have no quests in RFC, so loot and experience are the only incentive to go beyond Taragaman.
A good point that my belf pally had overlooked! Thanks for the heads-up, Psyn.
Jergosh still drops some of the nicest low-level bracers around, so he’s worth the extra pulls.
So many naughty jokes. How can one choose?!
(And he is totally worth it, for the experience, ease, and manly cuddling afterwards. I mean… experience and ease.)
I approve of this.
Now you need to get crackin’ on blogging so I can link to you for bloody, bloody tankspertise!

A faster way is to drop from the 4th boss platform and kill the third one.
My own experience, and what I’ve heard from others, is that defeating Taragaman is a common point for people to leave the instance. Once he’s defeated, the achievement for the dungeon drops and several party members may drop the group at that point.
As a tank, the best way to avoid this is to skip Taragaman and save him till last. In the main chamber, skirt the north and west walls and go up to Bazzalan first, then drop off the ledge down to Jergosh. Once he’s dead, THEN you go get Taragaman. It forces the impatient players in the party to complete all the bosses before abandoning the party.
Doh, you already covered this.
Need… to learn… to read.
