Level Range: 16 – 26
Special Notes: Like Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep was updated a bit for Cataclysm, so pay attention if you remember it from before.
Maps:

Shadowfang Keep: The Wall Walk, Silverpine Forest
Bosses:
- Baron Ashbury: His Asphyxiate takes the target to near death. Make sure you’re healed up between instances of it.
- Baron Silverlaine: Summons worgen spirits. Keep focus on the Baron, they disappear when he dies.
- Commander Springvale: A hard fight. Calls adds. Avoid purple flame like crazy. Avoid green circles on floor. Always have your back to the wall so the purple flame doesn’t hit others.
- Lord Walden: Avoid blue spots on floor.
- Lord Godfrey: Always have your back to the wall so the Pistol Barrage doesn’t hit others. Summons ghouls.

Godfrey is easier to handle down on the ground floor than up in his alcove.
If you can get your ranged DPS and healer to stay on the stairs, and your melee DPS to stay behind him – you can tank him so he’s facing toward the bottom of the entry stairs. That way, when the ghouls spawn and rush for the stairs with your healer and ranged, Godfrey will often splat them with his own bullets. Makes it easier to keep the ghouls off your healer.
But honestly, this is probably information overload for a random dungeon-finder group. Just kill the trash first, then pull Godfrey down to the main floor. If you’ve got the right group, you can try the complex method – or if you’ve wiped a couple times and people are willing to listen to suggestions.
When Godfrey does his Pistol Barrage, he doesn’t move, so you can move out of the way when it begins. Your healer will likely thank you for it.
